USG Selects Top Three

Earlier this year, the University System of Georgia submitted an RFQ (a request for qualified concessionaires) to firms interested in developing and operating a portfolio of on-campus housing projects across the state. As of June 30th, the USG has narrowed the choices to three – Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions, Corvais Campus Living, and Education Realty Trust. The RFQ is currently considered to be the largest public-private partnership underway in the US. The firm selected will manage a portfolio comprised of 6,195 beds, as well as develop and manage an additional 3,000 beds across seven USG campuses, including Georgia State, Armstrong Atlantic, and the University of North Georgia.
