TJMaxx Plans Distribution Center, To Bring 500 Jobs

TJX Corp, the retailer that owns TJMaxx, HomeGoods, and Marshalls, is working with IDI to build an 800,000 SF warehouse and distribution center in Jefferson, GA (Jackson County). The project is expected to cost approximately $600 million dollars to complete and will bring about 500 new jobs to the city.

The project will be developed on 38 acres in the Jackson Distribution Center off Holly Springs Road and RACO Parkway. IDI is expected to rezone the area for Light Industrial use.
