Plans Filed for Hotel Near Georgia Aquarium

Hilton by aquarium

The one acre parcel of land catty-corned to the Georgia Aquarium has been spoken for. Plans were filed on August 7th for a seven story hotel at the corner of Ivan Allen Blvd and Luckie Streets. The plans noted that the proposed hotel will have  about 150 rooms, a conference space, and a full-service restaurant. Although not confirmed, most speculate that this hotel will be branded as a Hyatt House, an extended stay brand from Hyatt that offers one, two, and three bedroom suites with kitchens. The hotel could cost upwards of $20 million to construct.
