Three Ravinia Drive is back under contract after Crocker Partners backed out of the purchase almost 2 years ago, citing that its investors felt that the purchase was too risky given Atlanta’s high vacancies, lagging job creation, and large tenants with early termination rights. CBRE Global, which has more than 7.3 million square feet of towers in its Atlanta portfolio, is currently negotiating with the building’s owner, Colonial Properties Trust, to get the deal done.
