John’s Creek Mixed-Use Project Denied Essential Permits


On January 3rd, we reported that Brand Properties and Greenstone Properties had formed a JV to develop a 19 acre project in Johns Creek. The preliminary plans for the project included as many as 263 multi-family units, as well as a mix of office and retail space. After several months of consideration, the Johns Creek Planning Commission has denied Brand and Greenstones’ rezoning request, effectively derailing the project. It’s a welcomed decision by many area residents; more than 200 people attended a meeting back in February to voice their concerns and discontent with the project and its eventual impact on the area.
