Georgia Continues to Attract Transportation and Logistics Companies

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, a discount goods chain, is looking to expand into the Southeast market by way of Atlanta. The retailer plans to add 30-40 stores in Georgia alone by 2018, which could create as many as 175 jobs over that time period. To accommodate their expanding footprint, Ollie’s has leased a 962,00 SF warehouse facility in Commerce, GA. Once the facility is up and running, it will provide merchandise to stores in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida. Governor Nathan Deal says that Georgia continues to attract major transportation centers due to our strong logistics infrastructure.
