Keurig Green Mountain Coffee has announced its decision to open a Keurig K-Cup plant in Douglasville. Keurig Green Mountain has recently partnered with Coca-Cola to produce cold coffee beverages, and the new $337 million facility they’re purchasing will focus on those efforts. Keurig Green Mountain is under contract to purchase a 585,000 SF warehouse from Centerpoint Properties at 7705 Staples Drive; the selling price has not been disclosed. The plant is expected to be up and running by 2015 and the company is currently accepting applications on their website.
