Central Perimeter is Magnet for Mixed-Use

Central Perimeter has arguably been Atlanta’s most active submarket since State Farm began to take hold in 2012. Since that time, the submarket has become active with the purchase and sale of numerous assets as well as the development of brand new ones. There are several mixed-use projects underway in the submarket, the newest of which is named Sandy Springs Gateway. The 21-acre development will sit at the intersection of Roswell Road and Windsor Parkway and will include retail, office, and multi-family components. While the tenant roster is not yet full, CVS and a number of boutique restaurants have already signed leases. Core Property, who is leading the development, has already begun demolition on the site; the project is expected to complete by the end of 2Q2015.
