Urban Realty Partners is under contract to purchase the five-story office building that is currently owned by the Arthritis Foundation. The building is located at 1330 West Peachtree St in Midtown, just down the road from the Arts Center MARTA station. Urban Realty Partners plans on converting the office building into 98 apartment units and about 5,000 SF of retail space on the ground floor. When asked about their interest in the building, Urban Realty Partners said that its proximity to the Arts Center MARTA station was really the deciding factor.
If the deal goes through, this would be Urban Realty Partners’ second transit-oriented development in Atlanta; the one that is currently underway should be delivered late this fall. Urban Realty Partners is banking on the idea that access to transit will continue to grow in importance to the younger generations and hopes to attract those types of people to its projects.Share
