Another Sporting Goods Company Relocates HQ to Atlanta

A few weeks ago, we reported that the tennis and squash-equipment maker Prince is relocating their headquarters from New Jersey to Atlanta, thanks in part to the presence of ATLA, the largest community tennis organization in the world. Mizuno USA is also making moves in Atlanta, consolidating several locations into a central Buckhead HQ. They are now being joined by Jones Global Sports, better known under the Bobby Jones brand. The company announced their plans to relocate its headquarters to Terminus 100 in Buckhead (Prince’s Atlanta offices will also be in Terminus 100). Jones Global Sports was purchased by Wyatt Companies last year and has been focused on expansion since that time. Reps from Jones Global Sports, which makes and distributes gold equipment, say that Atlanta “just makes sense” for the company. Georgia hosts a number of major golf tournaments throughout the year and Atlanta’s climate makes this one of the better places for golf in the US.
