Another Mixed-Use Project for Central Perimeter

State Farm has spurred a great deal of development in the Central Perimeter submarket since it announced its plans to development a 2.2 million SF campus along Perimeter Center Parkway. Since that time, developers have been racing to submit plans for projects to serve the anticipated needs of the increased number of people expected to live and work in the area upon completion of the project (State Farm has said that as many as 8,000 employees will work from their Central Perimeter campus in the future). The majority of the proposed development has been mixed-use, but almost all projects seem to include a multi-family component of some kind.

The latest development to be announced in the area is One City Walk, which will sit at the corner of Roswell and Hammond Rds. The project will include 203 multi-family units, an amenity deck, and 8k SF of retail. The project’s amenities will include a swimming pool, outdoor activities courts, dog park, fitness facility, business center, and green space. The property should be delivered in August 2015. Choate Construction is acting as the general contractor and Niles Bolton Associates is in charge of the project’s design.
