The mixed-use project at the Braves’ new stadium site won’t be the only major mixed-use development underway over the next few years. Fuqua Development, which is planning more than $750 million in projects in Atlanta, has announced their plans to convert a 50-acre site at the corner of Cobb and Barrett Parkways into more than 450,000 SF of retail and 30 residential units. This project is large enough to be considered a “development of regional impact,” and the firm has filed all the necessary paperwork with the county for the project to be considered as such. If approved, the project would complete sometime in the second half of 2015.
Fuqua has worked on major Atlanta developments like Edgewood Retail District, Lindbergh Plaza, and Town Brookhaven.Share
