We reported a few weeks ago that Trident Seafoods is planning a new facility in Carrollton, GA and plans to hire a couple hundred people to work in the facility within the next year or so. This week, Carrollton received yet another boost when Yachiyo of America, Inc. announced their intent to open a $30 million facility in Carrollton Industrial Park. This will be Yachiyo’s fifth plant in North America. The proposed plant will encompass 130,000 SF and will require about 200 new workers to operate; they will make plastic fuel tanks and sunroofs for automobiles. No reports have been released on the expected delivery date of the facility of when the company plans to start the hiring process.
